Cat Lady

When it comes to owning cat-themed things, the limit does not exist. I wore this to go to college and later to see The Great Gatsby (*standing ovation*) as much as i wanted to be all dolled up in some cool Charleston outfit, i'm glad i went with simple and comfortable instead of glamorous and complicated, This jumper is light and perfect to wear with shirts underneath. The cold weather has finally struck without notice, thanks for layers or i would be a snow woman by now. 

   

Cuando se trata de tener cosas temáticas de gatos, el limite no existe.  Usé esto para ir a la facultad y luego a ver El Gran Gatsby (*aplausos de pie*) por más que quería estar vestida con algún divino conjunto de Charleston, estoy contenta por haber optado por simple y cómodo a glamouroso y complicado. Este sweater es liviano y perfecto para usar con camisas debajo. El frío finalmente llegó a la ciudad sin aviso, agradezco haber usado varias capas o ya estaría congelada. 

Shades of Plaid

I like to take risks, if i like it, i wear it. Simple as that.

Truth is, even though i tend to follow some trends (the ones i like and i think i suit) i'm a girl that can dress with something from 1999 or with something from 1899, i take inspiration from everywhere and this particular outfit was kind of an experiment based on -Chaos to couture- (MET Ball's theme from days ago, i'm sure you've seen it everywhere) well this ain't no couture but is not the typical tartan outfit either, i am very pleased with how these two fabrics look together, i mean they clash but somehow work. Some might say this is too much, but life is too short to play it safe. 

Me gusta tomar riesgos, si me gusta, lo uso. Así de simple.

La verdad es que aunque sigo algunas tendencias (las que me gustan y creo que quedan bien) soy una chica que puede salir a la calle con algo de 1999 como con algo de 1899, tomo inspiración de cualquier lado y este outfit en particular fue una especie de experimento basado en -Chaos to couture- (el tema de la gala del Met de días atras, seguro que lo vieron por todos lados) Y aunque esto no es couture, tampoco es la combinación típica de tartan. Estoy muy a gusto con como se ven estas dos telas juntas, es como que chocan pero funcionan de alguna manera. 

Algunos pueden decir que es -demasiado- pero la vida es muy corta como para usar ropa aburrida.

Carmen

Wearing this i felt like Mila Kunis in Oz and Carmen San Diego's love-child , which is not a bad thing at all. 

I played with the masculine garments with the oversized white buttoned down and basic black pants but adding that flirty feminine look with some killer shoes and dark lips.

Usando esto me senti la hija de Carmen San Diego y Mila Kunis en Oz, lo que no es para nada malo.

Jugué con las prendas masculinas con esta camisa oversized y pantalones básicos negros pero agregandole ese toque femenino con unos terribles zapatos y labios oscuros. 

Earn your Leather

When i got these pants/leggings in the mail a long time ago, i was so exited to wear them them that i never thought about that it was probably way too hot outside to be wearing leather pants, they were unbearable. I felt like Ross, if you know what i mean. (if you don't know, you can always see it -here-) but my prayers were answered and finally seems autumn is here! which made it perfect for these babies now! The parka is the perfect companion and one of my fave things right now, i thought of at least twenty different ways to wear it. Obsessed maybe? just a bit. 

Cuando me llegaron estos pantalones/calzas en el correo hace un tiempo, estaba tan emocionada de usarlos que nunca reparé en que hacia mucho calor como para usar cuero, eran insoportables. Me sentía Ross, si saben a que me refiero. (Si no saben siempre pueden verlo acá-) Pero mis plegarias fueron escuchadas y parece que el otoño llegó! lo que hizo el clima perfecto para usarlos! La parka es la compania perfecta y una de mis cosas favoritas ahora, pensé por lo menos veinte formas distintas de usarla. Obsesión? un poco.
