Creeper Shoes

Were invented by George Cox in 1949, these shoes were very common among rockabilly boys, the shoes in the early 1970s when Malcolm McLaren( Sex Pistols Manager and Vivienne Westwood Partner) sold them in his London shop. The shoe has since been adopted by subcultures such as ska, punk, psychobilly,  goth, Japanese Visual Kei and others.Underground England shoes have been producing creepers since the 1980s, creating new designs along the way

With a bit of luck i'm gonna get mine soon, i've been wanted them for a long time now but never found the righ ones till now!
What do you think about them? yey or nay?

Buenos Aires Fashion Week StreetStyle

One of the things i love the most about fashion week, is to see people getting all dolled up and expressing their selves ,different styles, trends and  lots of inspiration.

Amazing LITAS from Jeffrey Campbell, the scarf is very similar to Alexander McQueen one, im unsure if it is the original or not? loved the hat and TUK Shoes

Rina Lee and the girls from Leathers N' Feathers

That's my last fashion week post! i hope you all liked it, have a great start of your week

El mismo dia, a la tarde fuimos a los desfiles. Había muchos mas pero solo fui a los que me iban a gustar

Nothing new to be fair, they always do the same stuff, not my style at all but oh well.

Para ser honesta no hicieron nada nuevo, siempre hacen lo mismo, no es mi estilo pero bueno

Amores
Este fue uno de los mejores, vestidos muy copados, zapatos geniales y el show fue genial.

Buenos Aires Fashion Week

Buenos Aires Fashion Week was a couple of weeks ago, and i went, as every year.
First show was in charged of AY NOT DEAD, an invite-only  event in one of the most amazing buildings in Buenos Aires, Palacio Paz, an afternoon with pretty people, fashion and cocktails.

Best show of the whole day, loved the harnesses, very much alike Alexander McQueen's latests show.
There were some fab pieces like a two-coloured pants in black and white , which i must buy .
Stripes, animal print , black, red, white, neons and see-through shirts were  AYNOT''s keys.
Overall, i really liked their new collection The Young Gods, and i think i must get few pieces for myself.

Some fellow bloggers came too.

Fashion Designer, Santiago Artemis and my scientist friend Joseph.
Fashion Model, Naomi Preizler
(who by the way has walked for Chanel, Givenchy, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander Wang  among others)

And what i was wearing

Forever Young

No, is not new the fact that High Brands like to use young girls as models, let alone actresses.
So while i wait for the pictures i took at Fashion Week ,let's talk about this tendency.
There is always huge controversy about this, paedophile rumours and scandalous stamens always fill the air when campaigns are revealed.
Lots of the New-faces are under 21yo and even under 18 too, like one of my muses 17 years old Lindsey Wixon
16 year old Daphne Groeneveld , worked for  almost every important brand there is, such as Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Miu Miu, Versace and others

14 year old actress Hailee Steinfeld for Miu Miu

Elle Fanning, (Dakota's 13y.o sister) was chosen for Marc Jacobs latest campaign

and the most outrageous Thylane Lena Rose Blondeau for vogue

In my opinion i think fashion industry is always looking for something new to talk about, to get attention and publicity. It happened with actresses being models, with over the top designers like McQueen or Galliano.
I think this is just another game they like to play to get people's attention, yes, they are young, most of them just kids, images are photoshoped and edited but we can't be hypocrite, it is not the first time, and we can agree it won't be the last one either.
What do you think, Avant Garde, publicity or just paedophile?
